Living and Working in Space: Habitat |
How will NASA construct habitats to support extended human activity in space or
on the Moon and Mars? How can NASA provide what is necessary for humans to maintain
physical health and quality of life in space or on the Moon or Mars? These questions
and more were answered in the two web seminars Living and Working in Space: Habitat.
The presenters, all seasoned educators, talked about ecosystems, Mars and Mars exploration
and living and working in extreme conditions. Participants were given information
on efforts to construct habitats on the moon and mars for scientists and the current
training in NOAA’s Aquarius facility. These Web Seminars are designed for grade
